There has been a lot of debate about this, as some countries are of the idea that placing weapons in space is necessary, and others are of the idea that it is not. Rather than place weapons in space, countries need to place satellites to help in things such a weather forecasting. This would help identify whether calamities before they occur, and allow governments to evacuate their citizens before it is too late. Countries need to be looking for ways to create peace in space by removing weapons and placing more productive technologies.
